Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Denis Caouette started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, Louis Arnold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liberty FC and the Shouldice players grew even worse after the yellow card. Louis Arnold kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Armel Lane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Caouette in the 8th minute. In the 13th match minute, Liberty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezra Burks to maneuver through the defense. Armel Lane came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Shouldice's Denis Caouette. But to his dismay, Denis Caouette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Émile Nunn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liberty FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shouldice the free kick. Michael Hurst charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Hurst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michael Hurst hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Denis Caouette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Armel Lane made a huge save. Liberty FC's Armel Lane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Liberty FC from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Sébastien Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Willett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Liberty FC's Armel Lane got control of the ball when Denis Caouette tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Valentin Lamontagne made the kick off in the second half. Levi Willett stood somewhat misplaced when Louis Arnold came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 65 minute. In the 72nd minute, one of Liberty FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Liberty FC. The referee gave Shouldice a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Moses Reeves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Liberty FC's Armel Lane. 2-1. Émile Nunn was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 78th match minute, Liberty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Émile Nunn to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Demetrius Mélançon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armel Lane skillfully saved the ball. Armel Lane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Caouette in the 82nd minute of the match. Inocencio Tab missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 85 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Levi Willett right hand side. When Louis Arnold came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Liberty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Arnold couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Shouldice's Evrard Ervin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Demetrius Mélançon hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
