Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amos Thurman kicked off to start the match. Roger Mathieu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Greenwood went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Roger Mathieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Greenwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of Mossbank booed when Elma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bowden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Mathieu came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Mossbank's Amos Thurman. But to his dismay, Amos Thurman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lorenzo Parmentier in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raphaël Lebrun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 18 played minutes Mossbank got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Trudeau. Raphaël Lebrun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Bowden in the 20th minute. Philip Sevier lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. If Amos Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Mathieu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Thurman in the 30th minute of the match. With 35 minutes on the clock, Julien Greenwood commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 35th minute, one of Elma:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elma. The referee gave Mossbank a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thierry Trudeau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elma's Roger Mathieu. 1-3. The supporters of Mossbank booed when Elma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bowden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Mossbank were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Parmentier was the one to do the kick off. Amos Thurman hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Roger Mathieu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amos Thurman in the 63rd minute. Roger Mathieu was a little too slow when Amos Thurman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Thurman in the 71st minute of play forced Elma's goalkeeper Roger Mathieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Mossbank's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Parmentier came free, but Raphaël Lebrun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Gaston Greenwood made a precise shot to the right of Roger Mathieu. Elma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Roger Mathieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Thurman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Mossbank's Amos Thurman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Mathieu. Roger Mathieu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Roger Mathieu was a little too slow when Amos Thurman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-7. Gaston Greenwood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Roger Mathieu made a huge save. Gaston Greenwood scored 1-8 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Mathieu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaston Greenwood's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roger Mathieu firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 94 minutes, Martin Bowden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elma and the Mossbank players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Bowden hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Amos Thurman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mossbank's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
