Léopold Crain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Achin went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute, Mike Carpenter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Léopold Crain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Achin's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the DOE FC defense, Alexandre Achin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léopold Crain. The DOE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léopold Crain should have stopped the shot. Léopold Crain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Achin in the 23rd minute of play. If Alexandre Achin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Alexandre Achin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Léopold Crain was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Mike Carpenter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Léopold Crain having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Jerrell Platt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léopold Crain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léopold Crain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Achin in the 40th minute of play. Alexandre Achin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mike Carpenter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by DOE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jerrell Platt was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolton Wanderers's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 62 minutes, Alexandre Achin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolton Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Achin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Achin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Léopold Crain made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklyn Courcelle in the 66th minute of play forced Bolton Wanderers's goalkeeper Joshua Buck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léopold Crain made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Alexandre Achin sent off a good shot on target. Mike Carpenter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Léopold Crain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th play minute Alexandre Achin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Léopold Crain. 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Carpenter in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léopold Crain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blaise Kimbrough kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Brain Romano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DOE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolton Wanderers the free kick. Brain Romano kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Zane Jacques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
