The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Deniger got free with Levi Willett in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Shouldice getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Evrard Ervin hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Eduardo Garceau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Levi Willett skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute Quintin Browning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Willett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Sol York got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Levi Willett quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, Finnegan FC's Levi Willett threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Quintin Browning, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute Quintin Browning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Willett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shouldice's Levi Willett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Shouldice from getting a goal against them. Simon Deniger came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Levi Willett could save by the left post. In the 42nd minute Quintin Browning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Willett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Caouette to make the kick off. Simon Deniger hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Shouldice's goal looked a bit too open when Chadwick Doherty came free, but Levi Willett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Jöhl made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Denis Caouette sent off a good shot on target. Levi Willett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintin Browning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play, Finnegan FC's Simon Deniger made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Levi Willett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Korey Couture hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Santiago Peoples managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finnegan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Peoples was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Levi Willett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Finnegan FC's Quintin Browning nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Levi Willett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 82nd minute Quintin Browning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Willett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Shouldice's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Deniger came free, but Levi Willett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Levi Willett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chadwick Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Simon Deniger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Levi Willett. Shouldice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Deniger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Levi Willett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Deniger in the 92nd minute of play. Levi Willett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintin Browning in the 94th minute of the match. Korey Couture hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Finnegan FC had won after a very even match.
