The Ortrami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Garland Bryan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donald Flores in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moshe Mahoney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Jedrzej Tyski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renaud Britt. Edmonton Elks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jedrzej Tyski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the Edmonton Elks defense, 邓鹰国 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renaud Britt. The Edmonton Elks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renaud Britt should have stopped the shot. With 21 minutes on the clock, Philip Leal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Edmonton Elks booed when Ortrami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmonton Elks's Donnie Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. René Desnoyers struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Renaud Britt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ortrami. In the 29th minute, Edmonton Elks's Donald Flores ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moshe Mahoney. Moshe Mahoney yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Théodore Bowden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Renaud Britt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederick Laws fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Britt having to interfere. The throw-in from Earle Ayers in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ortrami's 邓鹰国. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, 邓鹰国 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ortrami's supporters rose to their feet, but 邓鹰国 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renaud Britt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 minutes, Donnie Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edmonton Elks and the Ortrami players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Edmonton Elks's Donnie Berger got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Ortrami were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donnie Berger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If 邓鹰国 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerry Doyon hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jedrzej Tyski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Renaud Britt. Edmonton Elks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute Théodore Bowden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaud Britt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luigi Goldsmith kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, Ortrami's Garland Bryan made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renaud Britt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renaud Britt made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when 邓鹰国 sent off a good shot on target. Luigi Goldsmith's late challenge caught a Ortrami's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luigi Goldsmith helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Edmonton Elks getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Luigi Goldsmith hit a great ball. After having played for 74 minutes, 邓鹰国 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ortrami's supporters crossed their fingers, but 邓鹰国 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renaud Britt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邓鹰国, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Renaud Britt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 邓鹰国, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ortrami's Garland Bryan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Donnie Berger, made in the 84th minute of the game. Théodore Bowden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Britt having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Luigi Goldsmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, 邓鹰国 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ortrami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After 95 played minutes Edmonton Elks got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Doyon.
