The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sugoi Torralba during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rashad Emerson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Joesph Primeau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joesph Primeau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rashad Emerson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sebastian Barrette got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leopoldo Schultz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Martxel got free with Bruno Urti in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Martxel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Urti. Ermegildo Martxel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Messi FC's Edwardo Lim got a free kick in the 40th minute. Orly's Dominic Milton got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Martxel made a kick off. After 63 played minutes Messi FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Murray. Thierry Schafer hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Rafal Okropny threw the ball into play from the sideline. Orly's Gilson Castro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 83rd minute, Lawrence Gaillard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Martxel kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Orly's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
