The Changsha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ethan Velazquez should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, one of Alexandria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jean Ramos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Gabriel Longpré scored 3-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brock Hatcher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ethan Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everette Bruner in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Alexandria booed when Changsha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baiardo Toyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Carnes in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brock Hatcher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the game, Ollie Dubois was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexandria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Changsha FC the free kick.
