Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Coleman Béland started the match with the kick off. Danny Capps kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Toronto's zone, Jonathon Samuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Osborn came out of the goal and Jonathon Samuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nick McGraw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Noel Osborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match FC Toronto got a corner. Sirdar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jewel Cooke ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sirdar's attentive Jonathon Samuel managed to snatch the ball when Alvaro Ivy made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. Nick McGraw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Osborn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sirdar's Brian Thivierge got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Orville Hartman struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Noel Osborn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sirdar. Jonathon Samuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Noel Osborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Julian Michael notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sirdar's Léonce Roy. Léonce Roy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half FC Toronto were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nick McGraw to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Nick McGraw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Noel Osborn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nick McGraw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Noel Osborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Osborn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick McGraw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léonce Roy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coleman Béland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Jonathon Samuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirdar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathon Samuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jonathon Samuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes, Sirdar's Jonathon Samuel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Noel Osborn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sirdar reached it. Nick McGraw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Noel Osborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nick McGraw in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Osborn saved FC Toronto from getting behind. After 92 played minutes Sirdar got a freekick which was hit by Brian Thivierge. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sirdar's goalkeeper Léonce Roy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathon Samuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sirdar were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Toronto to leave the ground with a draw.
