Spectators: 8314 (Terracing: 6364, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tacettin Şahinalp started the match with the kick off. Tacettin Şahinalp took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Osborn. Noel Osborn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ross Buchanan during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Toronto getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ross Buchanan hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Tacettin Şahinalp put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Osborn. Tacettin Şahinalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Osborn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Tacettin Şahinalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noel Osborn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tacettin Şahinalp in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Tacettin Şahinalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Osborn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 26 minutes into the match, Tacettin Şahinalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Osborn. FC Toronto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tacettin Şahinalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in FC Toronto's zone, Tacettin Şahinalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Osborn came out of the goal and Tacettin Şahinalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Osborn came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Arruaca's Damazy Piszczor. But to his dismay, Damazy Piszczor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. A collision led to Arruaca getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ramiro Kincaid hit a great ball. When Tacettin Şahinalp came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Arruaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tacettin Şahinalp couldn't finish the play. Damazy Piszczor scored 0-7 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Osborn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Damazy Piszczor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Osborn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coleman Béland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Tacettin Şahinalp made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. FC Toronto's Noel Osborn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Osborn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tacettin Şahinalp's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 64 minutes of play, Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Osborn was left in no man's land by his defense there! With splendid footwork Tacettin Şahinalp arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-11 by the left pole in the game's 67th minute. The Arruaca fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tacettin Şahinalp got free with Noel Osborn in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Ramiro Kincaid notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of FC Toronto's Noel Osborn. Noel Osborn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Arruaca fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-14 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Noel Osborn. That made the score 0-15 after 84 minutes of play. Arruaca's Damazy Piszczor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Noel Osborn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Noel Osborn was a little too slow when Donatien Braden got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-16. After 95 played minutes, FC Toronto's Jewel Cooke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pavel Tushkov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Toronto reached it. Ramiro Kincaid kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Kincaid during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arruaca played a much better game than FC Toronto and deserved their victory. The FC Toronto players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
