The supporters of Alexandria booed when Arruaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Literski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Tacettin Şahinalp sped through Alexandria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brock Hatcher. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tacettin Şahinalp in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brock Hatcher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donatien Braden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Tacettin Şahinalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brock Hatcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tacettin Şahinalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brock Hatcher having to interfere. Arruaca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damazy Piszczor in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Donatien Braden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brock Hatcher was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 46th minute, Donatien Braden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Tacettin Şahinalp notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Alexandria's Brock Hatcher. Brock Hatcher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everette Bruner was the one to do the kick off. Tacettin Şahinalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brock Hatcher having to make a save. If Ramiro Kincaid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Tushkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Beard in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brock Hatcher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. In the 68th minute, Feng Wei Xu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Donatien Braden took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Brock Hatcher to make any attempt to save it. Tacettin Şahinalp struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Brock Hatcher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arruaca. A well placed Tacettin Şahinalp short distance shot in the 75th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Damazy Piszczor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Brock Hatcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donatien Braden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Brock Hatcher made a huge save. Brock Hatcher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donatien Braden in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Damazy Piszczor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Ramiro Kincaid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arruaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Kincaid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91st play minutes Tacettin Şahinalp shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Brock Hatcher and just under the crossbar into goal. Bret Simms kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Arruaca's Tacettin Şahinalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brock Hatcher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. When the match was over Arruaca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alexandria throughout the match.
