Brian Thivierge hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes, Harris Rollins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toronto Bulls and the Sirdar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Harris Rollins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harris Rollins was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When Brian Thivierge was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. In the 31st minute, Brian Thivierge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léonce Roy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thurman Dowdy in the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sirdar defense, Milford Rosado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léonce Roy. The Sirdar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léonce Roy should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Toronto Bulls booed when Sirdar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick McGraw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milford Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathon Samuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constant Louineaux having to interfere. Philbert Rhodes made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milford Rosado immediately put the ball in play. Nick McGraw kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thurman Dowdy in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léonce Roy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 minutes, Philbert Rhodes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toronto Bulls and the Sirdar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Toronto Bulls's Philbert Rhodes got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Coupart in the 96th minute of play forced Sirdar's goalkeeper Léonce Roy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toronto Bulls's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
