If Baiardo Toyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Changsha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sadri Süleymanoğlu came free, but Ethan Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sadri Süleymanoğlu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ethan Velazquez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Timothy Cohen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Teobald Zukowski fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edmonton Saray's protests and gave Teobald Zukowski a yellow card for diving instead. Gregório Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Cohen in the 90th minute of play. Changsha FC's Ethan Velazquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Changsha FC from getting a goal against them. The Changsha FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Edmonton Saray's performance. The match ended with a win for Edmonton Saray.
