Noble Manning made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Norman Emery. In the 42nd minute Ermenegilde Marcum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léonce Roy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Emery in the 48th minute of play forced Sirdar's goalkeeper Léonce Roy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Noble Manning charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noble Manning the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sirdar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
