Spectators: 8480 (Terracing: 6361, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) Rickie Haynes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Fernando Strong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alphonse Malloy fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landrienne's protests and gave Alphonse Malloy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Fernando Strong fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carmelo Vazquez, passed just outside the right post. Daniel Sherman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Carlos Arsenault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Winston Guevara kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Diodore Best's late challenge caught a River Plate Mtl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diodore Best helped the player get up and apologised. Diodore Best hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Carmelo Vazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derek Weston in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Strong in the 27th minute of play forced Landrienne's goalkeeper Carmelo Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Weston in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th minute Derek Weston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derek Weston in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carmelo Vazquez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Carmelo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Strong, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Dalton got free with Carmelo Vazquez in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Leroy Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Carmelo Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Landrienne's Carmelo Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Strong in the 55th minute of play. Winston Guevara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Vazquez having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Fernando Strong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmelo Vazquez. Landrienne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Strong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Teodoro Barger took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Vazquez. Carmelo Vazquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Carmelo Vazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Weston in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Coleman Carney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Landrienne and the River Plate Mtl players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Landrienne got a freekick which was hit by Coleman Carney. Carmelo Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Weston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Ross Patten suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. River Plate Mtl's Gayle Petty was substituted for Ross Patten. The supporters of River Plate Mtl booed when Landrienne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickie Haynes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Teodoro Barger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Landrienne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickie Haynes to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Strong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Carmelo Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coleman Carney got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Leroy Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Vazquez having to interfere. Derek Weston took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Vazquez. Carmelo Vazquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When the referee ended the match the River Plate Mtl players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
