Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joesph Rowland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Carmelo Timmons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Timmons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joesph Rowland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrich Sampson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Timmons was the one to do the kick off.
