When Winston Guevara came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the River Plate Mtl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Winston Guevara couldn't finish the play. The River Plate Mtl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Carlos Arsenault made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Constantin Toth sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th match minute, Règne Rouge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carson Swanson to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Strong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rocky Latham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Barger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rocky Latham was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Rocky Latham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Strong in the 62nd minute of play. Derek Weston in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rocky Latham, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
