Landrienne's Carmelo Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucien Rivière in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Landrienne's Rickie Haynes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmond Cleveland. Edmond Cleveland yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Carmelo Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bret Marrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Lucien Rivière left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XENON FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Carmelo Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pasquale Ratliff in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes XENON FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Plouffe. 19 minutes into the match, Landrienne's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Rivière came free, but Carmelo Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Amado Favreau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Landrienne and the XENON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Landrienne getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Amado Favreau hit a great ball. Lucien Rivière fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Vazquez having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Pasquale Ratliff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XENON FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 25 minutes into the match, Bret Marrero notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Landrienne's Carmelo Vazquez. Carmelo Vazquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Rivière in the 30th minute of play forced Landrienne's goalkeeper Carmelo Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Bret Marrero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmelo Vazquez skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th minute, Pasquale Ratliff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Vazquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The supporters of Landrienne booed when XENON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thaddeus Tillman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pasquale Ratliff, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute Pasquale Ratliff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes, Coleman Carney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Landrienne and the XENON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Stefan Gibson managed to get in a good position for a shot. XENON FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Gibson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Vazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Lucien Rivière made the kick off in the second half. Lucien Rivière who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Carmelo Vazquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Landrienne's goalkeeper Carmelo Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thaddeus Tillman. The crowd rose to their feet as XENON FC's Lucien Rivière slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carmelo Vazquez. That made the score 1-5 after 59 minutes of play. 64 minutes into the match, Landrienne's goalkeeper Carmelo Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucien Rivière. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Lucien Rivière managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmelo Vazquez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bret Marrero. 75 minutes into the match, Landrienne's goal looked a bit too open when Lindsey Ring came free, but Carmelo Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thaddeus Tillman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-7. 91 minutes into the match, Bret Marrero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carmelo Vazquez, 2-8. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Carmelo Vazquez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as XENON FC's Lucien Rivière slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carmelo Vazquez. That made the score 2-9 after 97 minutes of play.
