Spectators: 8511 (Terracing: 6384, Seating: 1957, VIP seats: 170) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Géraud Ford made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Jörn Myhr notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chamberlain's Joesph Rowland. Joesph Rowland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lonnie Chassé's late challenge caught a Chamberlain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lonnie Chassé helped the player get up and apologised. Lonnie Chassé kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Oswaldo Spivey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joesph Rowland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Géraud Ford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörn Myhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Joesph Rowland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24thth minute of the game Géraud Ford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chamberlain's Joesph Rowland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Carmelo Timmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chamberlain's Joesph Rowland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Chamberlain from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the game, Herbert Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Joesph Rowland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Chamberlain's Joesph Rowland got control of the ball when Herbert Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jörn Myhr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Joesph Rowland made a huge save. Jerold Goddard charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerold Goddard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Chamberlain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerold Goddard to maneuver through the defense. Jörn Myhr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmelo Timmons to make the kick off. Jerold Goddard kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Morrisburg Lions's goalkeeper Cruz Lockett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boniface Avila. Rex George might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joesph Rowland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rex George ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 64 in the game by Boniface Avila from a close distance when the talented Cruz Lockett managed to make a qualified save. Morrisburg Lions's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Chamberlain's Branden Lyle got a free kick in the 68th minute. Herbert Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joesph Rowland having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Herbert Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morrisburg Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Chamberlain's Carmelo Timmons got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Chamberlain's goal looked a bit too open when Rex George came free, but Joesph Rowland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jörn Myhr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morrisburg Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Myhr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joesph Rowland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joesph Rowland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Myhr's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Joesph Rowland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Myhr, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Morrisburg Lions were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chamberlain for a fine match.
