When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Lucien Rivière put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Myron Miranda. In the 14th minute, Lucien Rivière ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Myron Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, XENON FC's Lucien Rivière nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Myron Miranda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Edmond Cleveland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jules Vadeboncoeur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 25 minute of play. In the 34th minute Jewel Hopper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Cleveland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, XENON FC's Lucien Rivière nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Myron Miranda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 38 minutes into the game, one of XENON FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 40 minutes XENON FC's goalkeeper Edmond Cleveland managed, with a little bit of luck, save Duncan Pelland's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Duncan Pelland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmond Cleveland came out and tried to block the shot, but Duncan Pelland slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes XENON FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucien Rivière. Lucien Rivière took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Myron Miranda. Myron Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jules Vadeboncoeur was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Olen McMullen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Cleveland. XENON FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olen McMullen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. After 77 minutes, Simon Goodson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edgington AFC and the XENON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes XENON FC's Lucien Rivière stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Myron Miranda stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Edgington AFC of the goal. Pasquale Ratliff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Myron Miranda having to interfere. Lucien Rivière's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Myron Miranda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edgington AFC's Myron Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Edgington AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, XENON FC's Thaddeus Tillman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Myron Miranda. Myron Miranda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-9. XENON FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
