Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boniface Avila in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Arsenault prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute Boniface Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Arsenault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derek Weston scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joesph Rowland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Allen Krause kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Weston in the 17th minute of play forced Chamberlain's goalkeeper Joesph Rowland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River Plate Mtl's Fernando Strong got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joesph Rowland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Weston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joesph Rowland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Barger in the 27th minute of the match. When Boniface Avila came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Chamberlain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boniface Avila couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Fernando Strong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joesph Rowland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leroy Dalton came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the River Plate Mtl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leroy Dalton couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chamberlain's zone, Fernando Strong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joesph Rowland came out of the goal and Fernando Strong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
Chamberlain's Joesph Rowland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Chamberlain from getting a goal against them. Derek Weston in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joesph Rowland, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chamberlain's goalkeeper Joesph Rowland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Carmelo Timmons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chamberlain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 72ndth minute of the game Boniface Avila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carmelo Timmons charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Timmons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chamberlain's Carmelo Timmons got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Derek Weston might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joesph Rowland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derek Weston ran back to his position shaking his head.
