Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. James Olsen started the match with the kick off. When Géraud Ford came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Morrisburg Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Géraud Ford couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Rossi in the 8th minute of play forced Malonton FC's goalkeeper Urbain Sorenson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Malonton FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Blaine Pelland hit a great ball. Herbert Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbain Sorenson having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Morrisburg Lions got a freekick which was hit by Nykteus Papadopulos. 35 minutes into the match, Morrisburg Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Drew came free, but Cruz Lockett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Morrisburg Lions's goal looked a bit too open when James Olsen came free, but Cruz Lockett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herbert Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Malonton FC got a freekick which was hit by Donnell Greenberg. Lonnie Chassé hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes, Malonton FC's Blaine Pelland shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cruz Lockett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malonton FC reached it. Urbain Sorenson stood somewhat misplaced when Herbert Rossi came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 73 minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Todd Laux during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Morrisburg Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd Laux to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Rossi scored 0-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urbain Sorenson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Géraud Ford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Malonton FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Elwood Nicholson hit a great ball. The Malonton FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Morrisburg Lions's performance. The match ended with a win for Morrisburg Lions.
