If Rickie Haynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Landrienne got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Huddleston. Gonzalo Clifton took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Vazquez. Carmelo Vazquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Gonzalo Clifton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Landrienne's Carmelo Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes Landrienne got a freekick which was hit by Rickie Haynes. In the 19th minute Chi Léveillé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Clifton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamey Smalls sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Chi Léveillé charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Landrienne's goalkeeper Carmelo Vazquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute Gonzalo Clifton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamey Smalls in the 42nd minute of play forced Landrienne's goalkeeper Carmelo Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Landrienne got a freekick which was hit by Amado Favreau. After recieving a nice pass, Inwood's Gonzalo Clifton tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamey Smalls stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Jamey Smalls rounded Landrienne's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Jamey Smalls left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inwood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Inwood's Ian Trejo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Landrienne's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Gonzalo Clifton scored to the left of an out of position Carmelo Vazquez, making the score, 0-4. 81 minutes into the match, Landrienne's goalkeeper Carmelo Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmer Sullivan. Carmelo Vazquez made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Elmer Sullivan sent off a good shot on target. After 83 minutes of play, Inwood's Gonzalo Clifton made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Vazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Rickie Haynes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landrienne's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickie Haynes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlie Gousse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute Jamey Smalls suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Stefan Huddleston's late challenge caught a Inwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Huddleston helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute, one of Landrienne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Landrienne.
