Spectators: 8491 (Terracing: 6369, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Derek Weston started the match with the kick off. Blaine Pelland hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Malonton FC defense, Fernando Strong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbain Sorenson. The Malonton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbain Sorenson should have stopped the shot. In the 8th match minute, River Plate Mtl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winston Guevara to maneuver through the defense. River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Olsen in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Donnell Greenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Arsenault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derek Weston in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbain Sorenson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eloy Drew charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Drew the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Malonton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Drew to maneuver through the defense. Derek Weston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Drew in the 19th minute of play forced River Plate Mtl's goalkeeper Carlos Arsenault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Derek Weston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Derek Weston blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbain Sorenson having to make a save. Winston Guevara struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Urbain Sorenson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate Mtl. Derek Weston's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Urbain Sorenson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as River Plate Mtl's Derek Weston slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Urbain Sorenson. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derek Weston in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbain Sorenson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Malonton FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. James Olsen hit a great ball. When Derek Weston came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the River Plate Mtl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derek Weston couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for James Olsen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Derek Weston made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Malonton FC's Urbain Sorenson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dallas Vogel charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dallas Vogel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Dallas Vogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malonton FC's Eloy Drew got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Eloy Drew off the ground. A collision led to Malonton FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Eloy Drew hit a great ball. Urbain Sorenson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derek Weston's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derek Weston in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbain Sorenson saved Malonton FC from getting behind. In the 70thth minute of the game Derek Weston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malonton FC's Urbain Sorenson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Malonton FC's Urbain Sorenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Barger in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Derek Weston put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Urbain Sorenson. Blaine Pelland kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Derek Weston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Derek Weston managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate Mtl's supporters rose to their feet, but Derek Weston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbain Sorenson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 played minutes Malonton FC got a freekick which was hit by Dallas Vogel. River Plate Mtl's Derek Weston got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Weston in the 96th minute of play forced Malonton FC's goalkeeper Urbain Sorenson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the River Plate Mtl players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
