In the 11th minute, XENON FC's Bret Marrero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joesph Rowland. Joesph Rowland yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Joesph Rowland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pasquale Ratliff in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Lucien Rivière had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joesph Rowland. Chamberlain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucien Rivière was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Boniface Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Boniface Avila made a precise shot to the right of Edmond Cleveland. XENON FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Joesph Rowland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bret Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Edmond Cleveland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boniface Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in XENON FC's zone, Carmelo Timmons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Cleveland came out of the goal and Carmelo Timmons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Chamberlain's goalkeeper Joesph Rowland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucien Rivière. Joesph Rowland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucien Rivière in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the XENON FC defense, Carmelo Timmons kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Cleveland. The XENON FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Cleveland should have stopped the shot. Joesph Rowland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bret Marrero in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Timmons was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Pasquale Ratliff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joesph Rowland was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 54th minute Bret Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joesph Rowland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joesph Rowland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lindsey Ring in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Carmelo Timmons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Timmons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chamberlain's Joesph Rowland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucien Rivière in the 61st minute of play. Allen Krause received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edmond Cleveland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to XENON FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Reid Roy hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Chamberlain's Boniface Avila tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Lucien Rivière shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joesph Rowland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Carmelo Timmons tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edmond Cleveland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joesph Rowland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bret Marrero in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Timmons in the 76th minute of play forced XENON FC's goalkeeper Edmond Cleveland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Lindsey Ring notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Chamberlain's Joesph Rowland. Joesph Rowland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
