Nicolas McMullen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolas McMullen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex George in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Rossi in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas McMullen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Rex George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas McMullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cruz Lockett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Barber, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thomas Müller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Herbert Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas McMullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Oswaldo Spivey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas McMullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas McMullen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Müller in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Müller in the 31st minute of play forced Mancity Eagles's goalkeeper Nicolas McMullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Herbert Rossi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mancity Eagles's Nicolas McMullen. Nicolas McMullen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Rossi made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mancity Eagles's zone, Thomas Müller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas McMullen came out of the goal and Thomas Müller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Herbert Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morrisburg Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 60 minutes into the match, Mancity Eagles's goalkeeper Nicolas McMullen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Müller. In the 66th minute, Todd Laux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulrich Sampson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Mancity Eagles's goalkeeper Nicolas McMullen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Myhr. In the 71st minute, Bryant Primeau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rex George came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Morrisburg Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rex George couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Mancity Eagles's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rex George fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Herbert Rossi took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas McMullen. Nicolas McMullen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Thomas Müller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nicolas McMullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Morrisburg Lions's Thomas Müller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas McMullen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. In the 88th minute, Rex George ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas McMullen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Thanks to some nice moves Jörn Myhr could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Nicolas McMullen however easily saved by the left post. Mancity Eagles's Nicolas McMullen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Mancity Eagles from getting a goal against them.
