Zachery Hemphill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Arlie Gousse made a huge save. Gonzalo Clifton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Yost having to interfere. When Inwood's Jamey Smalls in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Claxton's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute Rubin Contreras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlie Gousse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Yost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamey Smalls in the 17th minute of play. Arnulfo Cuevas came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arlie Gousse could save by the left post. Gonzalo Clifton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Napoleon Yost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Inwood's Arlie Gousse got control of the ball when Arnulfo Cuevas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jamey Smalls kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Arlie Gousse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachery Hemphill in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bert Loiselle during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Bert Loiselle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inwood's Arlie Gousse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Inwood from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jamey Smalls in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Napoleon Yost saved Claxton from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, Inwood's goal looked a bit too open when Rubin Contreras came free, but Arlie Gousse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Gaston Thomson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inwood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Claxton the free kick. Gaston Thomson hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamey Smalls stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Claxton's Rubin Contreras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arlie Gousse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Rubin Contreras notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Inwood's Arlie Gousse. Arlie Gousse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Jamey Smalls took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Napoleon Yost to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Inwood getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Elmer Sullivan hit a great ball. Claxton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Gonzalo Clifton scored to the left of an out of position Napoleon Yost, making the score, 2-2. In the 72nd minute, Antwan Steward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rubin Contreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arlie Gousse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubin Contreras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Clifton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Napoleon Yost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
