Landrienne's Edmond Weir got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Timmons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buford Latham having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alphonse Malloy during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chamberlain booed when Landrienne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Malloy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Rickie Haynes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joesph Rowland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buford Latham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boniface Avila in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Boniface Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boniface Avila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buford Latham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boniface Avila in the 20th minute of play. When Alphonse Malloy was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Landrienne's Alphonse Malloy got a free kick in the 21st minute. Buford Latham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Timmons, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Buford Latham didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boniface Avila went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the game, Branden Lyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chamberlain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Landrienne the free kick. Branden Lyle hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Boniface Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buford Latham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Sherman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joesph Rowland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Weir, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Allen Krause received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Buford Latham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Timmons in the 57th minute of play forced Landrienne's goalkeeper Buford Latham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Landrienne's Buford Latham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Timmons in the 58th minute of play. Buford Latham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boniface Avila, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Timmons in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buford Latham saved Landrienne from getting behind. After having played for 69 minutes, Boniface Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boniface Avila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Chamberlain's Carmelo Timmons dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Buford Latham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Timmons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chamberlain! The referee gave Landrienne a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Sherman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chamberlain's Joesph Rowland. 1-2. Edmond Weir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joesph Rowland having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Landrienne's goal looked a bit too open when Branden Lyle came free, but Buford Latham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Boniface Avila took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Buford Latham to make any attempt to save it. Carmelo Timmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Buford Latham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Chamberlain's Boniface Avila slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Buford Latham. That made the score 1-4 after 97 minutes of play. The Landrienne fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chamberlain were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
