He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mancity Eagles reached it. 12 minutes into the game, Mack Riggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XENON FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mancity Eagles the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of XENON FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mancity Eagles:s goal. Edmond Cleveland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erick Lemaître, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucien Rivière scored 2-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas McMullen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Mancity Eagles getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mary Colon hit a great ball. The supporters of XENON FC booed when Mancity Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mary Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. XENON FC were furious when Marco Plouffe was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 38 minutes into the game, one of XENON FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Mancity Eagles. Mervin Boucher stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edmond Cleveland. 2-2. After 46 minutes, Markus Barber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mancity Eagles and the XENON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mancity Eagles getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Markus Barber hit a great ball. Nicolas McMullen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bret Marrero. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Lucien Rivière made the kick off in the second half. Nicolas McMullen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucien Rivière's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. When XENON FC's Pasquale Ratliff in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. XENON FC's Pasquale Ratliff got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Mancity Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Erick Lemaître. In the 71stth minute of the game Lucien Rivière who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mancity Eagles's Nicolas McMullen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Sampson in the 75th minute of play forced XENON FC's goalkeeper Edmond Cleveland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucien Rivière spun around in front of the goal 77 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mancity Eagles's goal. 78 minutes into the game, one of Mancity Eagles:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for XENON FC. Bret Marrero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicolas McMullen. 4-3. A collision led to Mancity Eagles getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Achille Hickman hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the XENON FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
