Gösta Häll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cary Kenney went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, CA Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Cary Kenney came free, but Gösta Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Harley Pinneau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CA Palmeiras's Gösta Häll did a great save. Gösta Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cary Kenney, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ronald Gaúcho charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronald Gaúcho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronald Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gösta Häll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cary Kenney went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to CA Palmeiras getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Armel Coulombe hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Kaladar's Cary Kenney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gösta Häll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Kaladar's Isiah Duplanty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gösta Häll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Justin Gaudreau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gösta Häll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Vieira made a kick off. Justin Gaudreau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gösta Häll came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kaladar's Cary Kenney. But to his dismay, Cary Kenney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Justin Gaudreau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaladar's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Gaudreau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Häll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brendan Barry during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gösta Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alton Brian, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Cary Kenney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gösta Häll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes CA Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Christian Gentry. Cary Kenney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Gösta Häll made a huge save. When the match was over Kaladar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA Palmeiras throughout the match.
