After a rather tough play, Bergland's Ezra Ohara got a free kick in the 14th minute. Theo Parham made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Andre Kiesenebner sent off a good shot on target. After 20 played minutes Bergland got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Dailey. Bo Timmons might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Roeland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Timmons ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Bergland's zone, Andre Kiesenebner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Parham came out of the goal and Andre Kiesenebner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Alpha Pegasus's Tyson Mims got a free kick in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Dailey during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Bergland's Theo Parham got control of the ball when Ezra Braxton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Bergland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Gregory to maneuver through the defense. When Elmo Bean fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpha Pegasus's protests and gave Elmo Bean a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alpha Pegasus getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Elmo Bean hit a great ball. Theo Parham made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ezra Braxton sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd match minute, Alpha Pegasus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacques Querry to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Andre Kiesenebner put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Theo Parham. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ruy Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpha Pegasus's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Parham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 57 minutes, Elmo Bean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpha Pegasus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmo Bean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andre Kiesenebner might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theo Parham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andre Kiesenebner ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, André Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Andre Kiesenebner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Parham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Andre Kiesenebner made a precise shot to the right of Theo Parham. Bergland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Andre Kiesenebner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theo Parham was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Philibert Walls charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philibert Walls the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
