The supporters of MURGASH booed when CA Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randall Crump didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, CA Palmeiras's Gilberto Vieira got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes, Art Salmons made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. CA Palmeiras's Gösta Häll tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute Rosario Proctor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Vieira scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Boswell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronald Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Joel Boswell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Palmeiras. After a rather tough play, MURGASH's Olen Zamora got a free kick in the 21st minute. Joel Boswell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Vieira in the 24th minute of the match. Gösta Häll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yann Hobbs in the 27th minute. Erik Hinton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Gösta Häll made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, CA Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes, Gilberto Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Palmeiras and the MURGASH players grew even worse after the yellow card. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Art Salmons made a kick off. MURGASH made a substitution. Stevie Finch replaced Rosario Proctor. When CA Palmeiras's Gilberto Vieira in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gilberto Vieira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. CA Palmeiras's Gilberto Vieira got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Gilberto Vieira off the ground. Yann Hobbs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Randall Crump during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Ronald Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gösta Häll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Salmons in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MURGASH lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
