Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Philip Hendricks made the kick off which started today's match. If Philip Hendricks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th match minute, CA Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Jeff Nadeau in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gösta Häll, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gösta Häll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Marcus in the 9th minute of the match. Gösta Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Judson Caballero, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Brett Erwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armel Coulombe during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, CA Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armel Coulombe to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Valéry Payne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brett Erwin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. The supporters of Isnardy booed when CA Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Erwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Philip Hendricks came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Isnardy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Hendricks couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the game, Stanford Parham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Palmeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isnardy the free kick. After a rather tough play, CA Palmeiras's Stanford Parham got a free kick in the 28th minute. Douglas Parent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gösta Häll made a huge save. After 36 played minutes Isnardy got a freekick which was hit by Marc Marcus. Douglas Parent charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Parent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Douglas Parent hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Philip Hendricks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gösta Häll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Vieira was the one to do the kick off. Gösta Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Nadeau, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Gösta Häll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Hendricks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Gentry's late challenge caught a Isnardy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Gentry helped the player get up and apologised. When Gilberto Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the CA Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Vieira couldn't finish the play. Judson Caballero struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gösta Häll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isnardy. A collision led to Isnardy getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cleo Pitts hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Gilberto Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronald Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monroe Franklin having to interfere. Stanford Parham got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 86 played minutes CA Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Stanford Parham. 86 minutes into the match, Isnardy's Valéry Payne broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Nadeau in the 99th minute of play forced CA Palmeiras's goalkeeper Gösta Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the CA Palmeiras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Isnardy.
