Hong Flaherty breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 4th minute, Sandro Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mattias Brandt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes A.S. Minerul Anina got a freekick which was hit by Perry Priest. In the 16th minute, Noah McCain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Jetzek having to interfere. Forrest Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Sandro Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hong Flaherty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Oliverios in the 40th minute of play forced A.S. Minerul Anina's goalkeeper Ludwig Jetzek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hong Flaherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Brandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Brandt in the 54th minute of play forced Mississauga Blue Devils's goalkeeper Hong Flaherty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludwig Jetzek made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Martin Oliverios sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to A.S. Minerul Anina getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Yassine Gtari hit a great ball. Hong Flaherty didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bart Smith went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Mississauga Blue Devils defense, Sandro Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hong Flaherty. The Mississauga Blue Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hong Flaherty should have stopped the shot. Sandro Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hong Flaherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Mississauga Blue Devils got a freekick which was hit by Valentine Charlesbois. Napoleon Justice was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Anderson Durepos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ludwig Jetzek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Horváth, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Heriberto Sorenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the game, Noah McCain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mississauga Blue Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Minerul Anina the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mississauga Blue Devils's Noah McCain got a free kick in the 96th minute. A.S. Minerul Anina's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
