Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, C.S.M. Resita's goal looked a bit too open when Man Holliday came free, but Garrett Gladu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Juliusz Szostak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lott in the 20th minute of play forced CF Tétraultville's goalkeeper Matias Villaspasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, CF Tétraultville's Matias Villaspasa got control of the ball when Chong Lamontagne tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Goodson made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CF Tétraultville's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Szostak came free, but Matias Villaspasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.S.M. Resita's Lorenzo Ott got a free kick in the 55th minute. Shawn Mayer struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Garrett Gladu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Tétraultville. Resita's Garrett Gladu didn't even have to move. Chants of CF Tétraultville echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as C.S.M. Resita had held the ball for most of the match.
