The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bertrand Glass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Volkan Demirel having to make a save. Quentin Kendrick was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Roscoe Wong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roscoe Wong really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bertrand Glass struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Volkan Demirel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fly T.T. 12 minutes into the match, Fly T.T's Bertrand Glass sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volkan Demirel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Bertrand Glass cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Volkan Demirel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eric's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Kopacz in the 22nd minute of play. Volkan Demirel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertrand Glass's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Jan Smitt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Volkan Demirel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Eric getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Theo Schumacher hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Pastor Vergaray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Bertrand Glass made a precise shot to the right of Volkan Demirel. Eric's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 33rdth minute of the game Bertrand Glass who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eric's Volkan Demirel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jan Smitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertrand Glass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Volkan Demirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Smitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Jan Smitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Demirel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Franciszek Kopacz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fly T.T's supporters rose to their feet, but Franciszek Kopacz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volkan Demirel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roscoe Wong to strike the kick off in the second half. Bertrand Glass struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volkan Demirel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Volkan Demirel managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Fly T.T's Bertrand Glass fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kåre Natland's late challenge caught a Fly T.T's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kåre Natland helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Jan Smitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilles Russell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Volkan Demirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilles Russell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volkan Demirel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Eric's Volkan Demirel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Eric from getting a goal against them. Quentin Kendrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roscoe Wong in the 78th minute of the match. Quentin Kendrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Schumacher in the 80th minute of play. Franciszek Kopacz might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volkan Demirel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franciszek Kopacz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Roscoe Wong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Kendrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Weldon kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Vadim Shiryaev might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volkan Demirel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vadim Shiryaev ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilles Russell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 95th playminute.
