Mattias Brandt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Volkan Demirel made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, A.S. Minerul Anina's goal looked a bit too open when Roscoe Wong came free, but Ludwig Jetzek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezary Drapinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forrest Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Volkan Demirel could save by the left post. Forrest Sousa got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 15th match minute before Volkan Demirel had time to react. 22 minutes into the match, Eric's goalkeeper Volkan Demirel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Forrest Sousa. Volkan Demirel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Brandt went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When A.S. Minerul Anina's Mattias Brandt in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eric's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of A.S. Minerul Anina booed when Eric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Weldon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Volkan Demirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Theo Schumacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volkan Demirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Brandt in the 35th minute of play. Cezary Drapinski charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cezary Drapinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Eric getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cezary Drapinski hit a great ball. Atrar El Brazi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Eric's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Brandt came free, but Volkan Demirel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Cezary Drapinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Eric's zone, Forrest Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volkan Demirel came out of the goal and Forrest Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Roscoe Wong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eric's supporters rose to their feet, but Roscoe Wong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludwig Jetzek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Minerul Anina's goalkeeper Ludwig Jetzek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, A.S. Minerul Anina's goalkeeper Ludwig Jetzek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theo Schumacher. Volkan Demirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Forrest Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Mattias Brandt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volkan Demirel was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. A.S. Minerul Anina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Roscoe Wong scored to the left of an out of position Ludwig Jetzek, making the score, 4-1. Mattias Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Volkan Demirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Theo Schumacher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eric's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Schumacher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludwig Jetzek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atrar El Brazi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of Eric booed when A.S. Minerul Anina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Forrest Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.S. Minerul Anina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Volkan Demirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Vander in the 90th minute of the match. Forrest Sousa took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Volkan Demirel. Volkan Demirel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 95th minute, Roscoe Wong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. A.S. Minerul Anina had won after a very even match.
