Royal Pain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Arden Ryder made a huge save. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's goalkeeper Arden Ryder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute Leader FC were awarded a corner. Maurice Knapp went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Maurice Knapp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arden Ryder quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes into the match, Leader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sébastien Hodges came free, but Alim Doğangün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arden Ryder made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Royal Pain sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Leader FC were awarded a corner. Maurice Knapp went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Mitchell Baker at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919. 2-0. Alim Doğangün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Bush, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Leader FC booed when FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clark Lamontagne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Royal Pain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Arden Ryder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Trent Lamare dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arden Ryder, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Royal Pain made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnathan Marois in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arden Ryder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Royal Pain notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Arden Ryder. Arden Ryder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jerry Champagne's late challenge caught a FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerry Champagne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Jerry Champagne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Landry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Arden Ryder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alim Doğangün stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sébastien Hodges's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Johnathan Marois had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arden Ryder. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnathan Marois was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. David Buchanan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leader FC's goalkeeper Alim Doğangün, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johnathan Marois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Arden Ryder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Lamare in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Hacı 林义亦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Leader FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hacı 林义亦 to maneuver through the defense. Alim Doğangün acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kip McFarland. After having played for 86 minutes, Sébastien Hodges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sébastien Hodges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arthur Grimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Marois came free, but Arden Ryder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
