Adrien Flood started the match with the kick off. Adrien Flood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arden Ryder having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Adrien Flood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erwin Bush could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Brendan Hammons made a huge save. Erwin Bush kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 14thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Quebec city FC's keeper Brendan Hammons was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 15th minute, Sébastien Hodges made a precise shot to the right of Brendan Hammons. Quebec city FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Brendan Hammons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 谢皓亮 in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Quebec city FC's Brendan Hammons got control of the ball when Erwin Bush tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cleo McCain hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Grier in the 28th minute of play forced FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's goalkeeper Arden Ryder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brendan Hammons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Bush in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Carmen Langford made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brendan Hammons was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Quebec city FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cleo McCain hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Pat Grier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arden Ryder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dwain Barth hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes of play, FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Trinidad Nash made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brendan Hammons was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Harvey Rivard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Arden Ryder didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 53rd minute, 谢皓亮 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The supporters of Quebec city FC booed when FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmen Langford didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Delacruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arden Ryder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Erwin Bush ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendan Hammons was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Arden Ryder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrien Flood in the 71st minute of play. Quebec city FC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harvey Rivard took the corner. After taking down the ball on Quebec city FC's corner Pat Grier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arden Ryder quite easily take care of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, 谢皓亮 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Brendan Hammons was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sébastien Hodges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Brendan Hammons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brendan Hammons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 谢皓亮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kip McFarland hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's zone, Jerrell Wooten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arden Ryder came out of the goal and Jerrell Wooten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sébastien Hodges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
