Spectators: 9280 (Terracing: 6962, Seating: 2134, VIP seats: 184) Royal Pain started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Leader FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitchell Baker to maneuver through the defense. Royal Pain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Leader FC's zone, Ildefonso Harkaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alim Doğangün came out of the goal and Ildefonso Harkaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute of the match Persepolis F.C. got a corner. Leader FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arden Poulin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arden Poulin made a great header on Persepolis F.C.'s corner, it was just that Leader FC's Alim Doğangün managed to reach the ball for a save. Alim Doğangün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arden Poulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Trent Lamare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Santos Perez made a huge save. Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Lamare in the 28th minute of play. Santos Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Marois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Persepolis F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wang Yi Kun. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Santos Perez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leader FC's Alim Doğangün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léopold Castro in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Persepolis F.C. got a corner. Leader FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arden Poulin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arden Poulin made a great header on Persepolis F.C.'s corner, it was just that Leader FC's Alim Doğangün managed to reach the ball for a save. Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Royal Pain in the 40th minute of play. Santos Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royal Pain, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Royal Pain came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Arden Poulin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Persepolis F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arden Poulin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Léopold Castro made a kick off. After 57 minutes Persepolis F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maurice Knapp who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 65 in the game by Léopold Castro from a close distance when the talented Alim Doğangün managed to make a qualified save. Leader FC's players were relieved. After 66 played minutes Persepolis F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Seliga. If Johnathan Marois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Royal Pain in the 81st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Leader FC's goalkeeper Alim Doğangün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léopold Castro. If Danny Craig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Persepolis F.C.'s goalkeeper Santos Perez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Persepolis F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
