With his leg Santana Armada managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Jagiellonia Denver's Michal Majdoch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute of the match Jagiellonia Denver got a corner. Vancouver Reds's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sun Lin ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which 蔡伟洲 managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Blake Vogt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vancouver Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Blake Vogt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Gary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Majdoch in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Blake Vogt came free, but Eric Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Santana Armada successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada got control of the ball when 蔡伟洲 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cacá Čačak hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Eric Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blake Vogt, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Emir Iğdırlı hit a great ball. Emir Iğdırlı kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blake Vogt to make the kick off. Santana Armada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Majdoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Vancouver Reds's Cameron Leary slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eric Gary. That made the score 0-1 after 58 minutes of play. Vancouver Reds's Frankie Carnes was substituted for Cameron Leary. Blake Vogt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eric Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vancouver Reds's Reuben Bunch was substituted for Amédée Gillis. Jagiellonia Denver's Nicholas Kimble was substituted for Domenic Marsh. Jagiellonia Denver's Viorel Olaru quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bixente Lizarazu, made in the 71st minute of the game. Jagiellonia Denver's Michal Majdoch got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Denver from getting a goal against them. Jagiellonia Denver's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
