Kirk Lafond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyrus Velasco's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyrus Velasco in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kirk Lafond saved DOE FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Caio da Rocha sped through DOE FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kirk Lafond. The audience was convinced that Cyrus Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kirk Lafond was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyrus Velasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Vasco in the 28th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Brochu's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Brochu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when DOE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Brochu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DOE FC's zone, Cyrus Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirk Lafond came out of the goal and Cyrus Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kirk Lafond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrus Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 32 minutes into the match, Cyrus Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kirk Lafond. DOE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyrus Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kirk Lafond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes DOE FC got a freekick which was hit by Alain Ramsey. The supporters of DOE FC booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonzo Davidson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caio da Rocha got free with Kirk Lafond in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Caio da Rocha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kirk Lafond, 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caio da Rocha.

The wind increased when Mazinho Vasco made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Chaves came free, but Abel Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Cyrus Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirk Lafond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquis Frank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Bueno having to interfere. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Bastien Aldridge was substituted for Cyrus Velasco. In the 60th minute, Marquis Frank made a precise shot to the right of Abel Bueno. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Kirk Lafond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caio da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Caio da Rocha took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kirk Lafond. Kirk Lafond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Kirk Lafond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio da Rocha in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Caio da Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Kirk Lafond. DOE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After having played for 74 minutes, Caio da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Anselmo Finocchio got a free kick in the 76th minute. A hard shot by Tyler Bowser from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Abel Bueno's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 78th minute Caio da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirk Lafond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquis Frank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Caio da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kirk Lafond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Brochu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marquis Frank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Wilber Leon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the DOE FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Qikiqtarjuaq FC.
