Kenny Rushing kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Laurenz Berrewouts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blake Vogt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurenz Berrewouts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blake Vogt, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Léon Abel came free, but Santana Armada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eston AFC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Vancouver Reds's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tyrell Lafond took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Quick in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurenz Berrewouts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurenz Berrewouts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Quick in the 26th minute of play. Laurenz Berrewouts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Quick, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Eston AFC's Laurenz Berrewouts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blake Vogt in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Quick got free with Laurenz Berrewouts in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blake Vogt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Léon Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blake Vogt in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurenz Berrewouts saved Eston AFC from getting behind. After having played for 42 minutes, Blake Vogt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blake Vogt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laurenz Berrewouts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blake Vogt in the 44th minute of play. Léon Abel struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Santana Armada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eston AFC. Eston AFC's Francisco Beltza got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Darby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blake Vogt in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurenz Berrewouts saved Eston AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Eston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Darby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugène Jetté to maneuver through the defense. Vancouver Reds's Frankie Carnes was substituted for Cameron Leary. The supporters of Eston AFC booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugène Jetté didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada got control of the ball when Aldo Darby tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Eston AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Beltza to maneuver through the defense. Eston AFC's Laurenz Berrewouts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Quick in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Eston AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aldo Darby hit a great ball. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Eston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Darby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurenz Berrewouts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blake Vogt in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Vancouver Reds got a corner. Eston AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reuben Bunch ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Vancouver Reds's Reuben Bunch to fire away a dangerous shot which Laurenz Berrewouts despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Eugène Jetté got a free kick in the 81st minute. Santana Armada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Darby's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blake Vogt in the 84th minute of play forced Eston AFC's goalkeeper Laurenz Berrewouts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Frankie Carnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurenz Berrewouts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Eston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Beltza. Laurenz Berrewouts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blake Vogt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Apollinaire Gousse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vancouver Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Apollinaire Gousse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurenz Berrewouts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laurenz Berrewouts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blake Vogt in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blake Vogt in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurenz Berrewouts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vancouver Reds players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
