After 5 played minutes Mafios FC got a freekick which was hit by Cresitobalo Abecia. After 8 played minutes Mafios FC got a freekick which was hit by Oriche Abel. After 10 minutes of play, Villamontes's Jose Nayely made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eneko Abastas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute Bertol Remiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eneko Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Villamontes's goalkeeper Herena Chasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oriche Abel. Eneko Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Falcon in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Jose Nayely notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mafios FC's Eneko Abastas. Eneko Abastas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eneko Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertol Remiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mafios FC's goalkeeper Eneko Abastas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mafios FC's zone, Bertol Remiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eneko Abastas came out of the goal and Bertol Remiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertol Remiro in the 38th minute of play forced Mafios FC's goalkeeper Eneko Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Fortun Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mafios FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortun Abeijon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Villamontes's zone, Errapel Abenda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herena Chasco came out of the goal and Errapel Abenda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fortun Abeijon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mafios FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Xacobo Abancens hit a great ball. Jose Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eneko Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertol Remiro got free with Eneko Abastas in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bertol Remiro scored 0-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eneko Abastas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Remigio got free with Eneko Abastas in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Nayely was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Jose Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bertol Remiro came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Villamontes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertol Remiro couldn't finish the play. Guilllermo Loma's late challenge caught a Mafios FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilllermo Loma helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Guilllermo Loma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Errapel Abenda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Jose Nayely recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eneko Abastas. Jose Nayely showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Peter Falcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herena Chasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errapel Abenda in the 87th minute of play. Bertol Remiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneko Abastas having to interfere. Eneko Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Remigio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Villamontes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mafios FC throughout the match.
