Betão da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lizer Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betão da Mata came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Erwin Rommel F.C.'s Roderigo Abechuco. But to his dismay, Roderigo Abechuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 31st minute, ECCORAZ FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roderigo Abechuco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 35 minutes into the game, Serafo Galdamez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ECCORAZ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erwin Rommel F.C. the free kick. Serafo Galdamez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Erwin Rommel F.C. booed when ECCORAZ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafo Galdamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Roderigo Abechuco fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erwin Rommel F.C.'s protests and gave Roderigo Abechuco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Erwin Rommel F.C.'s Roderigo Abechuco got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lizer Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes ECCORAZ FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Armenta. Tome Cuenia kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Betão da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roderigo Abechuco in the 55th minute of the match. Cordarrel Aballe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Betão da Mata. ECCORAZ FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 61 minutes, Cordarrel Aballe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erwin Rommel F.C. and the ECCORAZ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cordarrel Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Naike Hubieta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilmar Aballe came out and tried to block the shot, but Naike Hubieta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Horia Tataru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute of the match Cordarrel Aballe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betão da Mata showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roderigo Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão da Mata having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Serafo Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot. ECCORAZ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafo Galdamez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilmar Aballe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, ECCORAZ FC's Horia Tataru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilmar Aballe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute Lizer Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lizer Abeitia in the 94th minute of the match. If Lizer Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
