The referee ignored El Rojo Boliviano's protests and gave Arnau Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Admon Abendano managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Malpaso AFC's Luciano Marentos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Malpaso AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Iraunkor Rafales hit a great ball. Arnau Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pascoal Gatell hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Fernandez Abeitia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Villate was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vincente Vilella's late challenge caught a El Rojo Boliviano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincente Vilella helped the player get up and apologised. Vincente Vilella kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Malpaso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincente Vilella to maneuver through the defense. El Rojo Boliviano's Admon Abendano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save El Rojo Boliviano from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Luciano Marentos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Admon Abendano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Malpaso AFC booed when El Rojo Boliviano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malpaso AFC's Iraunkor Rafales couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. Luciano Marentos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Admon Abendano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arlo Castillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luciano Marentos came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Malpaso AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Marentos couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arlo Castillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arlo Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Admon Abendano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Rojo Boliviano's Valerio Abel got a free kick in the 58th minute. El Rojo Boliviano's Admon Abendano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlo Castillo in the 98th minute of play. El Rojo Boliviano succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Malpaso AFC had controlled the match.
