But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbasa Pa couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, Cris Valenciaga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juanito Sominaya. Cris Valenciaga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Chacataya's Cilio Labastida got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cris Valenciaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cris Valenciaga struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Juanito Sominaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochabambita AFC. Cris Valenciaga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cris Valenciaga was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cris Valenciaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute of the match Niolaao Gorostarzu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juanito Sominaya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chacataya's Juanito Sominaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Lallera in the 58th minute of play. Zoil Sorriba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Juanito Sominaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Seijas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbasa Pa in the 71st minute of play. Chacataya's Juanito Sominaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Lallera in the 86th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Chacataya's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Valenciaga came free, but Juanito Sominaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
