Ofelio Abendano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Natanael Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Quinto Abeita fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A c u a r i a n o s F C's protests and gave Quinto Abeita a yellow card for diving instead. Quinto Abeita hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, UNIVERSITARIO DE SUCRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klimowicz Baraona to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Quinto Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutropio Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchazadec Abello in the 24th minute of play. A c u a r i a n o s F C's Natanael Abarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save A c u a r i a n o s F C from getting a goal against them. Stig-Åke Pilgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Natanael Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Sanduru Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig-Åke Pilgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ofelio Abendano in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Abarca saved A c u a r i a n o s F C from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, Klimowicz Baraona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Natanael Abarca. Klimowicz Baraona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 40 minutes in the game, Stig-Åke Pilgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Natanael Abarca having to interfere. With a little luck, A c u a r i a n o s F C's Natanael Abarca got control of the ball when Augusto Gimenez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natanael Abarca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Gimenez went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ofelio Abendano made the kick off in the second half. After 55th play minutes Ofelio Abendano shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Natanael Abarca and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the A c u a r i a n o s F C defense, Stig-Åke Pilgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natanael Abarca. The A c u a r i a n o s F C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natanael Abarca should have stopped the shot. Natanael Abarca came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by UNIVERSITARIO DE SUCRE's Augusto Gimenez. But to his dismay, Augusto Gimenez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 69th minute, Ofelio Abendano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Abarca was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Natanael Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Pilgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes of play, UNIVERSITARIO DE SUCRE's Augusto Gimenez made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natanael Abarca was left in no man's land by his defense there! 高骏亮 lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 78 played minutes UNIVERSITARIO DE SUCRE got a freekick which was hit by 高骏亮. In the 83rd minute, Salvino Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 85 minutes, Augusto Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNIVERSITARIO DE SUCRE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natanael Abarca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ofelio Abendano's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The supporters of A c u a r i a n o s F C booed when UNIVERSITARIO DE SUCRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klimowicz Baraona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sancho Abeita got in the 91st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Eutropio Abadie. This was a shot which ended in a score of 8-1. There was no doubt that UNIVERSITARIO DE SUCRE were the better team. UNIVERSITARIO DE SUCRE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
