In the 32nd minute Cesareo Valaguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iigo Acebes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mendiko Cariga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martxel Lomelin in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Kesanani getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gogo Urigarri hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Kesanani booed when Khochapampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Illan Ozores didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Khochapampa got a corner. Kesanani's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Khochapampa's Xever Garviras was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mendiko Cariga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 72nd minute, Martxel Lomelin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mendiko Cariga. The goal made the score 0-1. Iigo Acebes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutierrre Terron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Cesareo Valaguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iigo Acebes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Kesanani's Cesareo Valaguer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iigo Acebes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesareo Valaguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Martxel Lomelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
