In the 16th minute Emanuel Elixio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekaitz Abellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Tolino Abellaneda notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Locahayo's Ekaitz Abellaneda. Ekaitz Abellaneda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tolino Abellaneda struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ekaitz Abellaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kupini. Benvide Abeita made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Nahia Abenda sent off a good shot on target. Benvide Abeita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nahia Abenda in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Inigo Abastas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benvide Abeita. That made the score 1-3 in the 27 minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Locahayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shantala Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolino Abellaneda in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ekaitz Abellaneda saved Locahayo from getting behind. Ekaitz Abellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Elixio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Locahayo's Shantala Abaurre got a free kick in the 34th minute. Emanuel Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekaitz Abellaneda having to interfere. Ekaitz Abellaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolino Abellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ekaitz Abellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Elixio in the 41st minute of play. Nazario Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes, Nahia Abenda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Locahayo and the Kupini players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nazario Abadie ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Locahayo's Ekaitz Abellaneda got control of the ball when Nazario Abadie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekaitz Abellaneda having to interfere. When Tolino Abellaneda came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Kupini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolino Abellaneda couldn't finish the play. Kupini's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
