After 17 played minutes Cuevas FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Peralves. A collision led to Muratu getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eli Renteria hit a great ball. Francesco Hurtaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bazil Cardarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Muratu's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Lena came free, but Bazil Cardarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Hurtaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bazil Cardarda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francesco Hurtaran ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cuevas FC's Marcos Lena in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Muratu's goalie prevented a goal. Bazil Cardarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Hurtaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Lena in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bazil Cardarda saved Muratu from getting behind. The supporters of Cuevas FC booed when Muratu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Vasallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Lena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bazil Cardarda having to interfere. Bazil Cardarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Hurtaran in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joanes Amor to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Vasallo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zilar Landaburu having to make a save. Zilar Landaburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joanes Amor in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Vasallo in the 58th minute of play forced Cuevas FC's goalkeeper Zilar Landaburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joanes Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Vasallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zilar Landaburu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joanes Amor in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zilar Landaburu saved Cuevas FC from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Leonardo Vasallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zilar Landaburu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute Joanes Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zilar Landaburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
